TAMPA, FL — Shufflrr, a presentation management solutions company, has relocated from New York to Tampa.
The company has established its operations at Embarc Collective, 802 E. Whiting St., Tampa, and plans to create 30 jobs over the next three years in roles such as sales, business development and account management.
Co-founded by the brother-sister team of James Ontra and AlexAnndra Ontra, Shufflrr is a presentation management solution that allows enterprises to better manage content and tell their story.
The company is currently housed at Embarc Collective and plans to create 30 new jobs.

In Shufflrr, every file is formatted as a slide, ready to present. It keeps messaging, branding, images, data more synchronized in a presentation library, allowing groups like sales and training teams to easily share files, build decks and show presentations from any device anywhere.
“Tampa provides a lower cost of living and fewer business barriers, which will better position us to grow Shufflrr over the next several years,” said James Ontra, CEO of Shufflrr. “We visited multiple cities and were won over by Tampa’s business-friendly environment and growing tech ecosystem. We’re excited to plant roots in Tampa and grow our operations from this vibrant community.”

Shufflrr joins a growing list of tech companies that have recently relocated or expanded their operations to Tampa and Hillsborough County, including Drift, JustProtect, TrustLayer, OPSWAT and Fast.

Shufflrr is already becoming an active member of Tampa’s startup and technology ecosystem. AlexAnndra Ontra is part of Tampa Bay Wave’s TechWomen Rising Accelerator and presented at Demo Day on Thursday.
The Ontras have worked together since 2000, developing and marketing presentation software.
They founded their own company, Ontra Presentations, in 2002. Over the years, they’ve developed several presentation applications for hundreds of Fortune-level clients.
